FAUNA wins community environmental award
The Star Regional Business, Apprenticeship and Training Awards 2009 were held on Satruday the 31st October 2009.
FAUNA was nominated for the Environmental Award for Community and was the successful candidate.
Sue Holmes and Jacqui Blanch attended the evening and a slightly stunned Sue accepted the award on FAUNA's behalf.
When interviewed, FAUNA's president, Sheree Crawford, said "it's really wonderful to receive this kind of acknowledgement from the local community, our service will continue to be provided regardless of awards, however, a pat on the back is much appreciated".
Also on the night, one of FAUNA's members, Patti Jaenke received the Mayoral Award for Services to the Community. Congratulations to Patti from everyone at FAUNA

AGM UPDATE
The AGM was held last Saturday, 19th September 2009
FAUNA members wish to thank the outgoing committee for a great year's work.You offer us selfless support and time throughout the year and we appreciate it very much.

AGM
The AGM was held on Saturday 20th September 2008 at the Fernvale Futures Complex.
Our hard working committee were all reelected to their current positions by unanimous vote.
We look forward to another year under their strong and committed leadership and congratulate them on a job well done in 2007/2008.
Having taken us from strength to strength, their unfailing dedication, hard work, knowledge, patience and willingness to assist the membership at all times, is appreciated and acknowledged by the entire F.A.U.N.A. membership.

NEW WEB PORTAL
The new web portal has been launched and we are very excited at the opportunities it will offer us to provide many more improved services to the public, our members and our volunteer staff.
Over the next few months, keep checking back on a regular basis as we bring more services online
